Coming from the fog

(Awuah-Mainoo Gabriel)

This is the voice of a concerned citizen welcoming his people back home( the sojourners): those who have gone to experience the so called "greener pastures" and are still miserable. He's of the fact that if they do not build their home themselves no one will do it for them, hence he urges them on to unite and together build as one people.

(Verse I) You going too fast to nowhere a destination Our land has not yet turned ashes Oh halt boy, stamp your dusty feet And trace the very footprints you left behind I await at the strand of the Nile Come, let’s go till the rocky terrain. Refrain Home home home, our own Home home home, our pride Home home home, our sanctuary Home is our own, our night and our light. (Verse II) Oh here! The prodigal voyagers Coming down from the slave ship And a sweet joy in my heart for them My pride lightens fury flames As the sojourners have known is time to build up Oh well, these heads have known home. Refrain Home home home, our own Home home home, our pride Home home home, our sanctuary Home is our own, our night and our light. (Verse III) I’ve known you brother Long before you vanished into the fog You used talk about sunshine and stars And rainbows and light And everything beautiful for the motherland Progress is, but a profound and consistent cataract And will have no boundary if these collective hands Knows when and how withstand adversities. Words that matter

By Awuah-Mainoo Gabriel

This is an inspirational song dedicated to dream chasers and those wobbling at the middle of the ladder finding ways to leap beyond the fog. There is no reason to look back because the flame is right beneath their feet, all they have to do is keep their head up and strive to the acme.

Art of love

By Awuah-Mainoo Gabriel

This composition is to establish the fact that there’s nothing like a perfect being. Love is based on complete acceptance and contentment. Two perfect (same likes) things repel, even if there is perfection it is somewhat to an extent. After all it is two different things that always attract.

To nature

There's no perfect remedy than the one nature gives. I've been broken and betrayed countless times, aftermath this very song which came out spontaneously amidst a flowery ambiance where i use to sit turns out to be my deliverance and comforter. My thanks to nature.
