The singer is unsure whether they are gonna make it or not and has given up hope, but then the person who supports them comes back, restoring their hope and giving them the strength to go on.

The singer doesn´t what to be "the voice of a generation" and has decided to only speak for themself. They tell anyone who has a voice to raise it, as they won´t do it for them.

El cantante se lamenta de todo lo que ha perdido y de lo dura que es la vida, de sus problemas para dormir por los pensamientos que lo persiguen y se resigna a su destino diciendo que el mundo está al revés.

La canción dice que debes alimentar tu ambición para que te lleve a trabajar más duro, pero con cuidado de no pasarte. También dice que tengas cuidado con compararte, no sea que superes a los de al lado sin lograr nada real porque no eran competencia de verdad para tí.
