So this lyric was inspired by real events: I was on Instagram, minding my own business - as you do, when a 'bot' (fake account) pops up to me asking to be my "good friend." He had a bogus-looking profile picture (it looked superimposed), '0' following, and '0' followers, and I just remember thinking that he must be a creep; so I decided to play him at his own game. After several chats, I sent my Cashapp and asked for money, to see if he was really who he said he was; if he pulled through, we could continue talking. (That's how you test these bots so that they won't try it again). He replied, "No thank you miss" and proceeded to 'unsend' all his sent messages...creep. These lyrics are very personal to me. It discusses the situations like I have mentioned above - the plights of Instagram - in a very satirical way. These lyrics are mockingly funny, and should not be taken too seriously. The vibes and atmosphere of the song are very freeing and playful. GENRES: Rnb, Mumble Rap, Drill, Rock, Pop. These lyrics fit perfectly into the aforementioned genres.
This lyric was also inspired by Mariah Carey's 2005 song, 'We Belong Together'. I wanted to capture the dramatic emotions of feeling like you are close to a breaking point or even close to death - surviving and rising from what could have broken you. This lyric describes the unbreakable bond between two lovers; they would be willing to do anything to save each other, as they share a bond so deep, they see life through each other's eyes. The vibes/atmosphere is very romantic, deep, hopeful, and triumphant. There is a spiritual element to it also. Genres: Pop, Indie/Rock, Ballads.
This lyric is inspired by the dainty 2005 Mariah Carey song, 'We Belong Together'. My lyrics have a soft vibe/atmosphere to them, that emphasises the want for all aspects of self to be loved by others. It explores a needy/desperate tone, but within that, it is very vulnerable, as there is an acceptance of self that is present, and an element that does not need validation. Genres: Rnb, Pop, Ballads.
This lyric is a short poetic segment that would be perfect for an intro/interlude or outro, to a weird, dark, heartfelt song. It reflects on 'death' as a positive transformation - as something to be celebrated and praised, rather than grieved. I was inspired by the idea of our loved ones who have passed on, watching over us and telling us to stop crying; I imagined they just wanted us to be happy. The vibes/atmosphere of the lyrics are dark, twisted, yet display a funny streak with a sense of hope. Genres: It can be used for literally any type and style of genre, but I suggest using it mainly for ‘rap’ genres and/or ‘rock’ genres.
This lyric is deeply rooted in trust issues. It encapsulates the idea that love is everything but certain and so we need more than just love to be sure of our existence, a relationship, and life itself. It describes the need for a deeper connection, and what could possibly be deeper than love? The direct and emotive lyrics inspire thoughts of nostalgia and heartbreak. The vibes/atmosphere of the lyrics are gloomy, contemplative, yet relatable. Genres: Rnb, Ballad, Pop.
