A song about losing faith in God because He hasn’t really been there for you. Throughout your depressive stages all through your lifetime, your prayers were never answered and no matter how high your faith was, He was just never around.
A song about anorexia nervosa as a person and horrible she is. First verse, I’m talking to her personally. Second verse, I’m talking to a person whose potentially vulnerable to anorexia, about anorexia.
This is about our lovely (sarcastically) president, Joe Biden. If you’re a liberal, no hard feelings. But if you’re a conservative, and despise Biden, this song is for you!
This is about being judged for being an addict, and everybody’s assumption about you being wrong. People can be so awful and ignorant.
This is a stab at the a classic summer song with an interpretive twist. I ignored the usual feel good and relational themes for one that hopefully leaves the listener guessing. What it meant to me while writing it will likely be completely different from what it means to you. However, the lyrics are simultaneously not super complex and allow for a celebratory, triumphant feeling to also shine through. Additionally, the rhyme scheme is intentionally a little odd to give the song a more memorable and unique sound.
