In "Du sagtest" geht es um eine betrogene Interpretin. Ihr Partner hat sie für ihre beste Freundin verlassen. Dadurch ging natürlich auch die Freundschaft zugrunde. Verständlicherweise ist die Interpretin traurig, von beiden enttäuscht und wünscht den beiden nicht alles Glück der Welt.

In dem Songtext geht es um den Abschied von einer nahestehenden Person. Das lyrische Ich ist sehr ehrlich zu sich und beschönigt nicht das manchmal auch etwas schwierige Verhältnis zum Verstorbenen, hält aber gleichzeitig an den schönen Erinnerungen fest.

This is a content winner lyric of "writing in men's point of view". The story is dealing with a man who's constantly going back to his ex even though she's not treating him right. The title " Purple Heart" can be taken in two different ways; first; it's just a nice and interesting way to talk about love. Or it can be taken literally. In that case you have to know that the Purple Heart is a USA military medal given for: "Being wounded or killed in any action against an enemy of the United States or as a result of an act of any such enemy or opposing armed forces"

This is a quirky one. It relies on the subject of a breakup. It's in the woman's point of view, as she tells her boyfriend how fed up she is about his constant cheating on her. I wrote it for pure fun and I was quite satisfied with the final product.

This is a happy, upbeat lyric. Can be applied in almost any genres in my opinion. It can be a love song, or also can be turned into a more "friend" topic. It only depends on your creativity.
