The lyric conveys the downfall of mental health as it delves into paranoia. It speaks of agents, mind control and living a looped day. Sounds like a movie, right? The vibes and atmosphere of the lyrics are very ominous and foreboding but relatable. It creates an eerie feel. You're guaranteed a distraught audience and it fits perfectly into most genres.
A song for Kate. Though it doesn't have to be specific to the Kates of the world. Many men have the problem of being inside their head too much, not realizing that they need to put more effort into loving their women. Men like us sometimes need to remind ourselves that our women need some TLC.
No big story behind this one. I'm not even sure I know any Marias. Yet from Townes Van Zandt and David Allan Coe to rock and roll bands like Counting Crows, everyone has their obligatory "Maria" song, so now I do too.

I love you, mom! And even though this song is pretty personal, you can always change it around once it’s yours.
