This song is about what haunts you in the night; your dark shadow; your worst enemy... a monster that lives under your bed and lives with you until you die. Misery. But this is misery speaking to you, your mind. Your heart.
This song is about knowing that there are struggles and limitations in life, but still trying to make the best of what is yet to come. Knowing that you’re stronger and more positive than you think.
This song, believe it or not, is about me and my rebellious drug years. Think of it as The Beatles’ Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds... The “A” for Analeigh is for Air Duster. The “P” for Please is for Painkillers. The “C” for Cry is Comet... those were all of the drugs I experimented with. But I’m coming out of the “secret” closet right now.
