A very "Rollingstones" inspired song. I imagined it with Mick Jagger's voice when I wrote it. This song is very upbeat and heavy guitar driven. I wanted it to go fast, and let the music sort of carry the song forward to the next line of lyrics. It's a fun song about drooling over a person who you are watching on stage.
This is an angry, but too sad to yell song. Where you are trying and trying to make a relationship work, but the other person won't try with you. We have all felt heartbreak and I feel this song makes it easy to see yourself in.
Meant to lose is a song about trying your best in a relationship, but not being able to make it work. I wanted to take all that anger and frustration and make it where people can relate. A lot of us have been on at least one end of this scenario.
Cover charge is a song about a girl who is always having fun, and always the life of the party. However, when the party is over she finds herself alone and realizes she doesn't really amount to anything. It's a song we can all relate to at some point in our lives.
Flustered is a Jazz and blues inspired song. This is about just being out at a bar and feeling that "liquid courage". Everybody gets a little flirty when they get a few drinks in them. So, I wanted to bring out that confidence that you wish you could have all day long.
