Don't sit back

(Howard Aronson)

His lyric is about to war in Ukraine. It's about appealing to people to not sit back and watch the TV, and listen to all the news, while people die for no reason at all. It's about reaching out and reaching in to your pockets and helping any way you can. The people of Ukraine deserve that, and we can't sit back and do nothing. As people here in America, that's not what we're all about, and I'm sure the same goes for most of the European nations. We all have to pitch in and do our part to help these people.

How can we sit back When people are under attack They need our help Cuz they can't do it by themselves We're a nation that cares for others So let's treat them like sisters and brothers We have to do what we can To lend a hand Get them whatever they need To help them succeed Send some money Or some food today Do it now Before it's too late Let your generosity show Let the world know How much we care And we'll always be there We're a nation that cares for others So let's treat them like sisters and brothers We have to do what we can To lend a hand Get them whatever they need To help them succeed

If you ever need me

By Howard Aronson

This song is about a relationship that didn't end very well, as the woman left the man for another guy. He was heartbroken and couldn't understand it but it has another side to it, because he finds out that the guy left his ex for another woman. It's kind of ironic, poetic, and in his mind Justice. But he really cares for her, and would love to get back together with her. So he tells her if you ever need me I'll be there, hoping that she might come crying back into his arms. He knows that she still cares about him, and he's appealing to her that their love is worth trying again

Another lonely night

By Howard Aronson

This lyric is about a relationship where the man makes a big mistake and the relationship falls apart. Now he's having remorse everyday and every night, and reminiscing and all that was good about what they had. At first he didn't think that he deserved to be on the outside looking in. But then when he thought about what he did he realized the mistake that he made. Basically he's pleading to her for one more chance, and it's telling her in so many words how sorry he is, and talking about the good things that they had in the past

Baby you can come with me

By Howard Aronson

This lyric is about decision time. One person in the relationship, has been waiting for so long for an opportunity to come through and it finally does the only problem is it's in a different place than where they live now. She is sad and doesn't know what she's going to do without him. But he tells her that she can come with him and that he wants to marry her and be with her for the rest of her life. Is a happy ending definitely to this lyric.

One Two Three

By Howard Aronson

I wrote this song in about 20 minutes, it's my latest lyric, and it was inspired by listening to Eric Clapton. I really liked the template for the rhyming that they used, something that I haven't done before and that's when the first line and the last line rhymes and the two middle lines rhyme. I'm trying to write differently using different rhyme schemes, and hopefully write something that has no rhymes at all or very few, and has no sense of sequence for lack of a better word. I think when you hear a song you can tell maybe when the rhyme is going to come, and I want to try to do something when you're reading the lyric, and then you're all sudden surprised by the rhyme. This lyric is about a relationship that's coming to an end. Nobody's talking and through all the silence, there's a good chance that this is going to start a huge argument one person knows that they can't do it anymore that they just had it, and they pretty much know what's going on I came up with the chorus just on a whim. I wanted to do something catchy, but not to juvenile. I mean this isn't a nursery rhyme like the one that says pick Up sticks, as I really can't remember it verbatim it was so long ago.

Let All Redeemed

By Stanley Chris

The death of Christ on the Cross ushered us into liberty from the bondage of sin. The icing on the cake is that His ministry didn't end there; He lives on as our High Priest before the Father, interceding for us daily in order that He may present us to God blameless on the last day (1 Thessalonians 5:23). What a Gospel, one so glorious that He has entrusted us to take its message to those in our worlds so that they too can receive the blessings of its truth; to bring them home to love, faith and hope, the three eternal principles of the Kingdom (1 Corinthians 13:13). The other mind-blowing reality of this is that we have been raised with Christ to a position of authority where we rule in victory in His Name (Ephesians 2:4-6). These are the themes expressed in this song, and the Bridge invites all to bring high praise to the risen King who brought us back to God, and defeated man's greatest fear: the sting of deaths.

Adieu

By Sherab Lhamo

A song in which love is compared to fighting a losing battle. War here is the relationship while the battles are the feelings. It’s when you do everything you can and realize there’s nothing left to give. So you accept defeat and bid farewell

Turn The Tide

By Steven Soucy

Turn the Tide is about war, fighting for your people and homes. The moment the aggressor learns they cannot defeat you. In honor of Ukraine and their people.
