Howard Aronson

I would like to introduce Howard Aronson. Howard is a "lover' of music and the lyrics that define a song. He has been writing since he was 8,. First with short stories in grade school, and then jokes as a Stand Up Comedian in the 80's. Howard is one of the most creative, and funny guys I have ever met.

Howard listens to a wide range of music, like Pearl Jam, The White Buffalo, Echo and The Bunneymen, Roxy Music, The Furs, Johnny Cash, and more. He is a fan of Rock, Blues, Progressive, New Wave, some punk, classical, jazz and country music.

Howard's lyrics are raw, real, deep, and razor sharp. They are stories, and ballads about himself and his battle with Addiction and Mental Illness. They are about his girlfriend's, his family, and upbringing, his friends, places he has been, and the experiences he has had in the past to present day. Some lyrics are about fictional characters as well.

Howard sees his lyrics being used for many different genres of music. All I will say is Howard is a "diamond in the rough", and could be someones Bernie Taupin. The possibilities are endless for him, and any singer/songwriter or band that wants to tap into his super creative, impactful, and emotional lyrics/mind. He will bring you to great highs, and depressing lows, that cut right to the bone.

This song is about a woman that keeps you safe and warm. Whenever you're in her arms, but she gives you a kiss it just relieves all the tension that you're going through. I believe love will always keep you warm. It's a metaphor lyric, as she's the fire and on the wood and the fire will go out if there's no more wood. I just hope that she doesn't find some other wood somewhere else, and let the fire, our fire go out. She's the love of my life, and no other woman that I have been with before could compare, and I believe that no other woman that I would ever meet would live up to her
This is about a relationship that I had when I was 25. I was so infatuated with this woman that I let a lot of things slide. I knew she was disingenuous, selfish and just really a taker. When I turned 25, I thought it was a pretty big birthday for me being that i was a quarter century old. But did she remember, absolutely not. If I remember right, and yeah it was a long time ago, she wanted me to do something for her that was just like so unbelievable. She had no clue that it was my day, and wanted to focus to be on her. I think it was something to do with going out to eat and I had a restaurant that I wanted to go to that was one of my favorites and she was emphatic about not wanting to go there and didn't like the place etc etc. Girl was stuck in her own world, and when I realized how phony she was I just pretty much ended it.
This lyric is about when your partner tells you that she doesn't love you anymore. She tells you that she's going in a different direction and that there's somebody else in her life. When that happens, and it's happened to me at that point you feel so alone. At the time it happened to me, I was living in her house, so I have to go find another place to live and at that point I didn't even have a home, and I moved back to my parents house for a little while. I was young in my 30s, but still if I think about it too much it hurts. It's one of those lyrics that a lot of people can relate to, and there's really nothing you can do or nothing you can say hence the name of my lyric called what can you say. It's a rhetorical question.
This is a dreamy lyric about my love of the Stars. When I was a kid I used to love going to the planetarium to see all the constellations. I believe that if you look up into the sky at night time and just close your eyes and then open them again they'll be a fantastic display in front of you. It's one that you could throw up your dreams to, as they say wish upon a Star. I daydreamed at night and during the day, and I most prefer the night time. When the stars are out, something magical just seems to come over me. When I'm up in the mountains I try to find the darkest place I can at night to watch the shooting stars, in the satellites go by to me the constellations amongst the Stars are the most incredible thing. This universe that we live in the endless universe is my numbing
This lyric is about the trials and tribulations of marriage, and getting through the rough spots and staying together. It's a bend but don't break mentality. It's truly what a marriage should be like, for that matter any relationship. They're always going to be ups and downs but if there's a true love no matter if it's a friendship marriage girlfriend boyfriend situation if there's a true love you'll work things out most of the time. And it doesn't matter what anybody else is saying. They should just be concerned with their own lives and take a look in the mirror. Usually when that happens those people have many more problems than you do. So when things get rough, as they say, the tough get going.
