Verse 1 Monday’s here again and the week begins Kids got activities that seem to never end Kyle’s got soccer at the oval by the lake Melissa’s got dance and we know we can’t be late Driving all around this small town of ours I wish I could bill for my hours! Verse 2 Wednesday’s we got a lot going on Band practice and tutoring to keep us on the run Basketball at night takes it to a tiring day Got to have my coffee to make it all the way Sometimes I think I need a personal assistant To take on all the extra work and give me a break By Saturday we’ve had as much as we can take Sunday is the day reserved for the parent’s sake Chorus With all these activities that go on all week Running around from place to place We got soccer, dancing and karate Then some homework while we put dinner on But there’s one day a week can’t be doing with all this fuss Because Sunday belongs to us! Bridge I can’t remember being this busy as a kid We used go outside and just kick a ball around Or go down to the lake and swim until the sun went down Times sure have changed with today’s busy schedules Need a relaxing day with the family sure enough That’s why Sunday belongs to us! Verse 3 We love our kids don’t get me wrong They make our world and keep us strong Don’t know how they keep up with what’s going on I wish they’d spend more time at home But all these activities stretch us pretty thin We need our Sunday’s to relax and just stay in Chorus

She'll Never Be Mine

By Brian Hendrix

A lovelorn song about a guy who's crazy about a girl, but she's already with somebody, and he knows that she'll never be his. That doesn't make him want her any less, but he's nevertheless aware of the fact that reality is what it is. To him, it's beyond just wanting her; he needs her.
