This lyric is about a guy who really loves this woman and would do anything for her and be there for her no matter what. But he's asking her if she feels the same. He felt this way for a long time and tried to show her that he cares. But it always seems like he hits a brick wall that is her heart. She seems to be somebody that has a hard time expressing emotions, and hides her feelings to the point where you just want to scream. Nothing seems to phase her, and she just goes on with her life. You know in your heart you'll continue to try and do everything you can to convince her that your love is true and that she should be with you.
This song talks of the faithfulness, love and greatness of God. He is the only One worthy of our praise, "from dawn to setting sun." His love is "better than life, much purer than gold refined," and remains unchanging despite our failures. In times of trouble, no adversary or adversity we face can bar His hand from intervening to rescue us to His arms. Those are the ideas brought out in the three Verses. The Chorus brings Him high praise, speaking of His power, exalting His Name, and expressing the famous prayer of Jesus that His Kingdom come to earth, and His will be done in our hearts (Matthew 6:10). This is the timeless song that the nations ever roar. Throughout history, empires have risen and fallen, but our God remains on His seat of power; He cannot be dethroned! He is indeed magnificent! That is the climax on which the Bridge ends this deep revelation of Who God is.
Yet another self-harm recovery song. Being in recovery is so joyous you must celebrate it everyday!
About still being hung up on an ex; he was her everything, then he just up and left. Now it’s nothing but dust and bones.
This is a song of praise to God, telling of His majesty as ruler of all creation. He does the impossible, calling dry bones to life, as in the case of Ezekiel described in the 37th Chapter of his book. It was a completely hopeless situation he saw in his vision of the valley of dry bones, but God, almighty in power, turned it around to show that not even death, the seemingly unconquerable giant to us, can stand in His way. In His unfailing love, backed by such awesome display of might, we find our solace. Those are the themes in the Verses. The Chorus is a confession of His sacred Name, which is representative of His ability and authority. This is echoed in the Bridge where He is described as "Lord of all" who "holds the control" in all circumstances and can thus be trusted to deliver on His promise even in the worst of odds.
