In My Bedroom is about how some teens and even adults feel like they don't fit in this world. They are looked at as geeks, weirdos, etc. But in the sanctity and privacy of their bedroom, they feel like a king, where their true self can come out.

Coming Up Short is a song about someone who always lets the people in their life down. Of building up words and promises and then running away when things get difficult or more involved than they can handle.

A story about a guy who was pretty much a hard case who was down and out, had given up on life, and was angry at the world, but found a good woman to calm him down and change his life. Many such cases.

Lessons learned, new ways of thinking or is it simply a case of letting go of all the ideas, thoughts and issues that we have been subjected to from various sources all our lives. As we go through life and begin to shed the unnecessary we hopefully come to a place of peace of mind and soul and let's us understand what our journey in life is truly about.

This is a pretty self explanatory song. The basic story is a guy is heartbroken over his woman leaving him, and people seem to keep meddling in his life, asking if he's okay, and he wants to just be left alone so tells them that he is. This is something a lot of people go through. We need time and peace and room to breathe but can't get it.
