"The Songless Song" details a person with the mindset, "If I can't have you then no one will." It starts with a question, this person seems to elude the author. The author feels as though this person is above them and unattainable. The author goes to great extremes to keep their love. Even if it means hurting them. No rhyme scheme. Preferred genres (but not limited to) Doom metal/Gothic metal/Death doom metal.

"All Torn Away" details sexual desires. I left it vague as much as possible so the reader can draw their own conclusion. Classic AABB & ABAB in some areas. Preferred genres (but not limited to) Doom metal/Gothic metal.

"Eye of the Storm" is about adversity and how we're faced with insurmountable events in life but strive to overcome. We can find peace in the eye of the storm. It does rhyme but not enough for a pattern. Preferred genres (but not limited to) Melodic metal core.

"To Lull a Sadist to Sleep" describes sado masochistic behavior. The sufferer is liken unto a "lamb led to slaughter" or his or her "fucked up god". Only when commiting such acts is the punisher made whole or is it the other way around? Classic AABB and ABAB in some areas. A song I wrote about how a lot of people tell me I look and act like my father. I think this is something a lot of men can relate to, how we end up our father's sons. I'm really happy with how this turned out. It's one of those songs that hit home more for me now since my father passed away. It's a classic style of country song here, to be sure.
