Broken lady with the heart of gold I think that your story should be told the system has got you hooked on drugs a life you thought was just for mugs you screamed in agony with torturous pain the doctors upped the meds again before long it had you in its grip the devil's elixir you'd taken a sip the change in you; you couldn't see you used to love; now you hate me now for you theres no letting go prescription drugs is all you know all the days run into one the life you had has almost gone on a cycle of endless pain and every day is now the same a cocktail of doctors death is all you want with every breath waking up its on your mind where are the pills you need to find family and friends watch your decay you won't listen to what they say they offer help that you refuse you're the one they don't want to lose you're paranoid they're all spies but they're looking at your demise gone from the great that you used to be to an hopeless addict that won't break free its not now about the pain its the feeling in the brain its not real its just a trick the devils moonshine you took a sip

Opfer der Zeit

By Roland Köhler
