Bloom

(Sherab Lhamo)

A song where love is compared to a seed that is planted by two lovers. When the right conditions are met it blooms. Even a little bit of care saves it from the brink of death. However though with time and no effort and external hardships and internal disputes, the plant is neglected, rejected and thus dies.

We planted a seed years ago Watered it enough for it to grow Bloom it did Beautiful and tall Until we decided Not to tend to it at all Without the sun, the rain It persevered The faint sign of life it showed Made us want for it to once again grow Bloom it did Colorful and bright Like the starts that shine at night Then winter came, so did the snow It seeped in down below XX XXX XXXX XXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXX XXX XXXXX XX XXX XXXX XXX XXXXX XXXX XX XXX XX X XXXXXXXX XXXXX XXXXX XX XXX XXX XXXX XXXX XXX XXXX X XXXXX XX XXX XXX XXXXXXXX

Sad Girl

By Karianne Gabaldon

A true story about a woman who self harms and a man obsessed with it. The woman couldn’t quite tell if the man was after her beauty and personality or if it was her self mutilation. His obsession was sick, but something inside of her kept coming back for more. If you are wondering, this “sad girl” is me. The man, well, I will never mention his name.

This is a love ballad of devotion, passion and desire. Have fun with it and make it your own, feel free to make minor adjustments to the lyrics as needed to make this song work for you. It was defiantly written with a country sound in mind but feel free to make it work for you.

The last tear

You can’t help someone who won’t help themselves and take ownership of their own life, their own decisions, and live with the consequences of their actions. There comes a time when you have to detach with love.

The Sun

By Howard Aronson

The song is about war despair no light at the end of the tunnel. And it's all because the sycophants, the people who look down on us for their own gain, as they rule the world. The sky is dark there is no sun there is no warmth there is no hope. The sky is just basically a roof that keeps out the light and if I ever see the light again it will be short-term. They will always be sycophants that come along and take control. It's been like that since the start of time. This lyric is very abstract, and there's a lot of ways you can interpret it. Even I'm having a tough time explaining why I wrote it and what it all means.
