A star shone bright on a cold winters night and gave direction to those lost on the ground it gave some hope has they followed the light looking for a place yet to be found looking for a stranger said to be in a manger a place where he could rest his head no room at the inn he couldn't get in but this place will do instead out of the cold a story began to unfold as the word of the birth soon spread a story that would be forever told about the child who had no bed in no time at all visitors started to call with gifts from wide and afar how they'd been found in the darkness around in the easterly sky shone a star now the visitors have gone the story began about the boy who came to save the souls of man but he was villified, whipped and nailed to a cross now man cries for his own weakness and loss

Opfer der Zeit

By Roland Köhler
