The world is changing in front of me
icebergs breaking fall into the sea
weather patterns no longer the norm
our world has become the eye of the storm

People in power show no concerns
counting their dollars as our planet burns
they never try to see our point of view
we need to show them what can we do

they say global warming is the cause of it all
melting the ice causing it to fall
rivers are rising floods on the increase
what can we do to cause it to cease

greenhouse gasses the fuels that we use
stolen from the earth that we abuse
could have all been used in a better way
then we wouldn't have these problems today

mans greed and his obsession with wealth
no concern for the world's health
now the weather beats down he has no control
he can only stand by and watch it unfold
