The devils wrath

(Alan Evans)

Rock opera in the vein of meatloaf; about the world capitulating into nightmare weather changes after being abused by mankind who worship money more than God.

Twas dark and lonely the road was long The skies thundered a roaring sound Trees were bending branches breaking The winds took me to the ground Is Mother nature kicking back I pushed back with all my might Caught up in a deadly storm As lightning lit this darkened night I wouldn’t surrender I had no fear I chose to take on this fight As lightning lit the road ahead And thunder boomed into the night Monsoon rainstorm beating down Rain bouncing off the ground Lightning blazing through the night Thunder roaring all around Thought the end was coming To meet me on this darkened path This is not the work of God The devils unleashed his wrath The rains bounced off the ground Thunder roared deep into the night Lightning danced across the skies As the wind carried the devil's fight Rains lashed all in its way Thunders pounded the dark night Almost made it through the storm When I felt the lightning strike And thunders roared a distant boom Lightning ripping through the night Rains flooding mother earth I think we’ve lost this fight And all around the storm beat down Destroying all that lay in its path Money that man made his God Won’t stop the Devil’s wrath

Opfer der Zeit

By Roland Köhler
