In a world that was shaky and blurred Another drink is all that he heard A wasted life it seems Living on whisky and dreams His family had tried but he only lied When he said he’d leave whisky alone He’d try to stand straight as he walked through his gate As he staggered and stumbled back home In a world that was shaky and blurred Another drink is all that he heard A wasted life it seems Living on whisky and dreams A man who had it all Until his company went to the wall He was out on the street he couldn’t compete With the young bulls that had it all In a world that was shaky and blurred Another drink is all that he heard A wasted life it seems Living on whisky and dreams In a world that was shaky and blurred Another drink is all that he heard A wasted life it seems Living on whisky and dreams

Opfer der Zeit

By Roland Köhler
