Love - Chapter 2 - My College Days

(Praveen Vava)

This is the second chapter (of five) trying to capture the various phases in the love life of a woman. It tries to describe her life in college, where the memory of her first love has become distant, and she’s lost in enjoying the frivolities of youth. How towards the end, all the flings lose their charm and the memory of her unfulfilled love comes back to the fore.

The future seemed so bright with him My heart and mind had no clue with him fun was the only view Seen with the blinders called youth and a little brew. We didn't see beyond the bend Little did we care for, hoping Life would show us the way and All problems off we could fend. Harm or hurt I did not want For wounds to the heart can forever haunt But you too had warmed up to despair And XXXX XXXXX XXXXXX XXXXXXX XXXX XX X XXXXXX XXXXXX XX XXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXX XXXXXXX XXXX XX X XXXXX XX XXXX XXXXXX X XXXXXX XXX XX XXXXXX XXXX X XXXXX XXX X XXX XX XXX XXX X XXX XXXXXXX XXX XX XXXXXXXX XXXXX XXXX XX XXXX XX XXXXX XXXX XXX XXX XX XXXXX XXX XXXXX XXX XXXXX XX XXX XXXXX XXXXXXXXX XXXXX XXX XX XXXXX XXXXXX XXXXXXXXX XXX XXXXXX XXX XXXXXX XXX XXXXXXX XXX XXXX XX XXX XXXXX XXXX XXX XXXX XXXXXXXX
