Diss-traction|Self-doubt

(Pushkala Yadadu)

A state of mind, a verbal play and a self-talk of persuasion. Often, when we brood is when we get distracted. We lose the track of time, the purpose of life and get on a mode of self-criticism. As much as self-contemplation is necessary to keep a track of your game, it often becomes a bone of contention for an anxious running mind. So you become what you think and its overridden by self-doubt. This lyrics is about asking your mind to stay in track.

Snap snap snap attack; Your brain goes on diss-track Cant stop now, just makes me crack; Try to take a walk to keep a track. Don't dont dont let it sway; Cause you've already seen its ways; Cant just let it go astray; Hold onto your shield; Think of it as just another day! Chorus: No not again though Comes back, every week or so; Might settle down and so let it go; No no I cant make it slow. Like spinning a wool; Keeping me at its pull; All this time; unleash at its pace; It makes me strain; Yeah it makes me strain. Take a swig of caffeine shot; Helps you to loosen the knot, while it is hot; Enjoy the forth, cause it wont last. Chase chase make it haste; Distracting you through its gaze; All that time goes into waste; Don't listen to your doubts, i know it surmounts; Don't let it stray Keep it at its bay!! Just breathe the dirt; Wait for it to rain; Get all muddled up, it will ease the strain; Yeah it will rain And take away the pain... No shame in moist eyes; So let it rain.. Let there be rain.
