When you do things for somebody else solely, it always ends bad. In fact, it explodes as opposed to just falling apart.

This lyric is about how technology really changed the world as we live it. This is a reflection of ourselves and how much time we spend consuming content; and really finding value in ourselves based on what the internet says.

This lyric is about the loss of innocence. Being a teenage girl in the church should be a place to feel safe, but when grown adults form opinions on a girl because of how she looks it can become skewed. Those judgments can easily make the church a nasty place, and push children to want to leave and not come back.
