A Home At The End Of The World
I got to writing a song about these strange times we are living in that sort of turned into an argument between lovers.

You go looking for love
Searching out all the wrong places
You make all these promises
Putting truth through it’s paces
You take all your lies
And use them to spin out all your fables
Ignore your lover’s cries
To put money back on the temple’s table
A brush of lips,
A lingering touch
You’re making poison
Out of love
You’re all over the place
While we’re stuck in cages
But turning tricks for today
Won’t fool through the ages
Chorus:
And I can hear for who sounds the toll of the bell
I’m alone in a home at the end of the world
And you never knew,
Who to choose between love and your lover
As you turn the streets empty
Taking your chances between science and wonder
Trapped in empty spaces,
Staring into the void
Now you’re looking to fill it
With all of this noise
A distant cry
Between the guess and the answer
Everyone asking why
You want the hurt to hurt harder
Chorus:
And I can hear for who
Sounds the toll of the bell
I’m living alone in a home
At the end of the world
Middle Eight/Break:
Faces
Pressed against glass
Hoping to begin again
Love tears itself apart
Cracks from the outside in
Places
All deserted
And the days are speeding by
As we tear each other apart
Both with answers we think are right
Chorus:
And I can hear for whom
Sounds the toll of the bell
I’m living alone in a home
At the end of the world
Outro:
You say a house ain’t a home
If you don’t got the stuff to be tough
But from this place I only hope
We find our way back to love
Let's find our way back to love
Let's find our way back to love
Let's find our way back to love
......To Love
