When you left

(Ebunoluwa Soneye)

The song is about when a loves one dies and the pain that the one left behind feels, the memories the person has of the dead person and how its unimaginable that the person is gone. The pain is undescribable, the hopelessness of it all and not knowing how to move on and start afresh because the person is all you can think about. Your life almost revolved around that person, you spents days, weeks, and months with the person and even though it wasnt planned you are expected to move on and live without them.

Chorus: Tear lines run all over my face They came the moment you left I know I said I will be brave But this loneliness is like nothing I have ever felt We knew that it was time for you to leave The machines went crazy with their beeps You quickly grabbed my hand, looked me in the eyes and said that when you leave I shouldn't forget to live I shouldn't forget to live to live... Verse 1 with no breath left in your body I find it hard to catch mine I know you believed in miracles I will too only if you wake up and open your eyes We made promises we couldn't keep Held hands like kids This can't be forever for I met you last November Looking at you no thoughts come in How am I supposed to live...
