Mirrors & Minds (Devil’s Eye Remix)
So basically, this piece of writing is trying to capture looking at oneself in a mirror, through the mind's eyes, and from another person's point of view. It's still a work in progress. The idea to combine creativity, the laws of physics, and creative writing to express both my right and left side of the brain. It's not an easy thing. Seeing yourself, while being used to 1st and 2nd person perspective writing, and then adding 3rd person perspective lyrics (about yourself; well myself) can get confusing and contradictory. It is a perfect representation of my mirrored self.

It’s an inverted mirror through my eyes
And when I stand parallel in front of mine
It becomes clearer that all I see are my flaws magnified

My imperfections are hanging in 3D

But their nails scratch a deep negativity
On the second surface of my glass when their mouths tell me
“You’re nothing but something on the outside”
But then I saw a girl resting beside what looked like
A demonic world and then I realized I’m looking through
The mind of my evil twin and the words I heard are locked in
‘Cause I’m locked in the inside and I’m not sure what’s worse
Being locked in or locked out?
And if I could step inside the silver metal just one time
So I could step outside of my dark side and find the side of myself that’s right
Just one time I would like to replace the images with a voice of reason
And tell my other half the reality of what she should be seeing
I’m in my own personal hell
And I somehow possessed myself
