I'm a Rockstar

(Mike Dynamo)

An anti love song for badly behaved people, "I'm a Rockstar" is written from the perspective of an insecure lover looking to flaunt his power in order to save his idea of himself. The song has a dark tone despite it's groovy beat and seductive language. The singer seeks to match the perceived demonic power of the lover who seeks to hurt them.

Verse 1 You got that hot sauce.... Burning at the tongue Of every man lucky enough for you to put it on You're too bold... Like your father you're too bold You think you got power Sauntering in the room That big booty eating up all the space... following you You black hole Yeah your heart is a black hole Chorus Just like a change of the season I don't need a reason Your femininity doesn't trademark your being a demon I'm a rockstar I'm too cold It's like a change of the season I don't need a reason Your femininity doesn't trademark your being a demon I'm a rockstar I'm too cold Verse 2 ...Take it in ...Make some sense of this Ain't no point of me arguing Baby your perspective is so crazy Yeah... you can drive me crazy Say I'm a criminal Stole your heart with nary a trace Turned around Had you replaced you shoulda seen the look on your face Just pissed you didn't drop me first Chorus Just like a change of the season I don't need a reason Your femininity doesn't trademark your being a demon I'm a rockstar I'm too cold It's like a change of the season I don't need a reason Your femininity doesn't trademark your being a demon I'm a rockstar I'm too cold Verse 3 Always have a plan And the right tools for the job, to keep you well in hand I'll change your fortune girl... for the worst I'll change your fortune girl for the worst, for the worst… yeah That’s right I earned my stripes Banging at your pipes No matter what notes I make you hit you'll flip it and try to split You think you’re better without me I can't have that Chorus Just like a change of the season I don't need a reason Your femininity doesn't trademark your being a demon I'm a rockstar (rockstar, rockstar, rockstar) I'm too cold It's like a change of the season I don't need a reason Your femininity doesn't trademark your being a demon I'm a rockstar I'm too cold

George Floyd

By Edward McBride

This song is about finally going too far with police brutality and blatant racism all over the world. It is not only black lives that matter but anyone who is subject to any form of abuse. It is a hate crime. I am white but we must be part of this change as leaders like Donald Trump do not care or lead by example.

END TIMES

By Annabel Chima

This lyric depicts a person that feels that they should just give in to death's call, even though they do not want to die. The feeling is dread. They know that the end of time is nigh and they regret that they did not live their life to the fullest. They start reminiscing about the things they could have done better. Perhaps things would have been better had they never sold their soul for riches. They contemplate just letting go whilst the 'sirens' pull them 'six feet under the floor'. The vibes and atmosphere of the lyrics are highly dark-themed, gloomy, and sad. However, there is an enchanting, hopeful and mysterious undertone to the song. It is full of code. Overall, it comes across as ominous. You're guaranteed a haunted yet intrigued audience. It fits perfectly into most genres, especially the rap genres. It is very befitting of the current times we live in.
