Paula Martin

Paula Martin is a lyricist who has been writing lyrics (and the occasional song!) since the 1960s. She doesn't go for the trite: her lyrics show raw emotion and face up to uncomfortable truths. She uses internal rhyme, sometimes eccentric rhythm and economy of words to bring out the themes of her pieces. Challenging, not perhaps for everyone, but an authentic voice in a mundane world.
