Better Off is a purely sad song of reflection, regret, solemnity.

A folk song I wrote about a pretty girl who a man views as smart and perceptive, and he really cares for her. He believes that she sees the world in a unique way, but he's upset and confused that she doesn't see how much he cares about her and how good he is for her. In terms of writing, I really love how poetic this came out.

A parody of Taylor Swift’s, You Belong With Me. It’s about this man who absolutely despises his boss because he’s a cheating pig.

Es geht darum, dass versucht werden soll, seinen potentiellen Lieblingsmenschen anzusprechen. Wenn es nicht klappen sollte, dann dankt man zumindest wie ein guter König mit Würde ab und kann sich nichts vormachen, da es probiert wurde.
