Heading home the road is long I'm tired and need my bed melodic beat of raindrops making tunes inside my head heading home I'm all alone just want to rest my head the weathers bad the storm is here and every mile I dread high beam drivers dazzle me as the light cuts through the night window wipers dancing to give me line of sight heading home I'm all alone just want to rest my head the weathers bad the storm is here and every mile I dread I'm struggling with this heavy load on this dark and stormy night so tired my eyes are burning but I won't give up the fight heading home I'm all alone just want to rest my head the weathers bad the storm is here and every mile I dread the chugging of the motor on every hill I climb gives me thoughts to ponder if I'll get home on time heading home I'm all alone just want to rest my head the weathers bad the storm is here and every mile I dread the big diesel it keeps thumping through the stormy night hope I'll be home and in my bed before the morning light heading home I'm all alone just want to rest my head the weathers bad the storm is here and every mile I dread

Opfer der Zeit

By Roland Köhler
