Snow covered roads reflecting the light
Children on sleighs sliding along
Out of the darkness the carollers song

Lights and tinsel brighten the tree
Baby Jesus and wise men three
Shepherds who left behind their sheep
Now for all the world they weep

Children excited about gifts on this day
While elsewhere other kids pray
Some for food some for rain
Some for release from their endless pain

Worlds apart their needs contrast
A changing world changing fast
