Woke up this mornin when I fell out of bed
nothin worse than than a bang on the head
noticed my clothes all over the floor
I tried to stand but I crawled to the door
my heads banging like an old steam train
think I done some damage to my brain
my clothes are scattered can't find my shoes
and I'm still suffering from the whisky blues
I shouted my baby but got no reply
felt so sick I thought I would die
oh the morning after the night before
I woke up hurting has I hit the floor
the hair of the dog might do the trick
but just the thought makes me feel sick
everytime I say it won't happen again
then my just one turns into ten
my heads banging like an old steam train
think I done some damage to my brain
my clothes are scattered can't find my shoes
and I'm still suffering from the whisky blues
