I'm in the driving seat now My hands firmly on the wheel I don't need you to tell me about the way that I should feel now the chains are broken and I can see the light I got the bumps and bruises but I survived the fight The days of your manipulation spoken and unsaid mental torture and cruelty you really messed up my head I was down ever so long thought I'd never get off the floor spent so long looking back never saw the open door now the chains are broken and I can see the light I got the bumps and bruises but I survived the fight Now I'm up and at last I breathe a taste of freedom deep within ready to take on the world and start my life again now the chains are broken and I can see the light I got the bumps and bruises but I survived the fight I'm in the driving seat now My hands firmly on the wheel You'll never tell me again about the way that I should feel

Opfer der Zeit

By Roland Köhler
