A simple song on chasing the wrong things in life…
In my late Sophomore year of high school, I was forced to move away from the friends that were important to me. After facing the realization that I would be leaving for good, it dawned upon me that I never appreciated those friends enough. I spent my time there dealing with insecurity and fear of getting close to them. "Alone" focuses on my feelings for one friend in particular who I was always too afraid to talk to (mostly because he was popular) and the longing to see him again.
Son of exiled kings, he returns to the world to court its damnation! In the ruin of mankind's vanity is his new kingdom born, one of fear and agony. His final dark sacrament to bring his father back into the world, to see what his hate hath sewn.
