there was a girl named Paula
With a smile so bright 
Yeah, I had a thing for her 

We went to different schools 
and lived in different towns 
but she looked so beautiful 
In her Purple Prom gown 

Off to college we went
Different schools again 
and left me wonderin...
If it was the end 

At least we had the summer 
but it went by too fast  
then I left for college 
And we became the past 

I heard she fell in love 
with some other guy 
then she got married  
But I found out it was lie 

I know she probably tried 
but found out that she cried  
she didn't deserve that shit
She should've been with another guy 

Now it happens all the time 
these cowardly acts 
A sad part of life
that's just the facts 

When will it stop 
things got to change 
the abuse dealt out 
by the fucking deranged 

Yeah I know she tried

she didn't deserve it  
she was left dead inside
