Howard Aronson

I would like to introduce Howard Aronson. Howard is a "lover' of music and the lyrics that define a song. He has been writing since he was 8,. First with short stories in grade school, and then jokes as a Stand Up Comedian in the 80's. Howard is one of the most creative, and funny guys I have ever met.

Howard listens to a wide range of music, like Pearl Jam, The White Buffalo, Echo and The Bunneymen, Roxy Music, The Furs, Johnny Cash, and more. He is a fan of Rock, Blues, Progressive, New Wave, some punk, classical, jazz and country music.

Howard's lyrics are raw, real, deep, and razor sharp. They are stories, and ballads about himself and his battle with Addiction and Mental Illness. They are about his girlfriend's, his family, and upbringing, his friends, places he has been, and the experiences he has had in the past to present day. Some lyrics are about fictional characters as well.

Howard sees his lyrics being used for many different genres of music. All I will say is Howard is a "diamond in the rough", and could be someones Bernie Taupin. The possibilities are endless for him, and any singer/songwriter or band that wants to tap into his super creative, impactful, and emotional lyrics/mind. He will bring you to great highs, and depressing lows, that cut right to the bone.

This lyric is about women who only want money from a relationship. They prey on vulnerable men who might have a lot of money, and a little bit of Fame. They put up with the fact that even though they're being taken advantage of, it's okay if they have a good looking woman on their arm. It's not to say that all women are gold diggers, most of them are not, so please don't get the wrong impression. I've never been on that end, because I never had a lot of money. When I did have some money, more than I ever thought I would have, I did have women who went out with me just because I had some money. It's not to say that these men are good looking guys and couldn't get a woman to go out with them that isn't looking for just money. That's the situation that I was in. But I think you compromise your own beliefs, and in the end it's really your fault for being taken advantage of. I don't believe you can blame the woman.
Cleric is about a relationship gone bad. All it's become is painful, and leaving a person feeling foolish and used. They're fed up, with all the lies and deceit, and tell them that It's Time to say goodbye, you can go do this to another guy. When you had enough in a relationship it becomes like a thorn in your side, it's always there pricking you. It makes you insane, and sometimes it makes people want to commit suicide. I had a friend who did that very thing.
Cleric is about me and my ex-girlfriend. After we broke up in 2018, we figured out that we were better friends than we were a couple. She eventually got engaged in 2021, and that changed our relationship slightly. Her fiance was very jealous of me for some reason, he just couldn't understand how two people that dated could now be friends. Never mind, that we have a dog that we've shared since 4 months old, and he's now six. So anyway, he leaves her because he can't take her relationship with me anymore. When I talk to her on the phone and asked her why he left he said it's all about you. Immediately I felt really guilty about it, but then realized I didn't do anything wrong, or did we do anything wrong. So I wrote this lyric, about please don't shut me out from our friendship. Stay strong, and tell him that in order for him to come back, he has to accept our relationship. I am no threat to him, or do I ever interject myself into their business.
This lyric is about relapse on any type of addiction. I've gone to bed many times, laying there staring into darkness and crying. I knew my dreams were going to be dark and black, because I had relapsed back into my addiction of drugs and alcohol. It's a place I never wanted to go back to, unfortunately I did, and my dreams are consumed with. Today thank God, I'm dreaming more happy dreams, blue dreams like the sky without a cloud
This lyric is about opposite experiences. I think we can all relate to this. In life you going to have highs and lows Good times bad times sad and happiness and on and on. I just thought that this would be a nice lyric to remind people that if you're down right now, don't worry because things will get better. If you're sad don't worry happiness will come if you've experienced loss, victory will be down the line. That's the way life is ups and downs highs and lows.
