Howard Aronson

I would like to introduce Howard Aronson. Howard is a "lover' of music and the lyrics that define a song. He has been writing since he was 8,. First with short stories in grade school, and then jokes as a Stand Up Comedian in the 80's. Howard is one of the most creative, and funny guys I have ever met.

Howard listens to a wide range of music, like Pearl Jam, The White Buffalo, Echo and The Bunneymen, Roxy Music, The Furs, Johnny Cash, and more. He is a fan of Rock, Blues, Progressive, New Wave, some punk, classical, jazz and country music.

Howard's lyrics are raw, real, deep, and razor sharp. They are stories, and ballads about himself and his battle with Addiction and Mental Illness. They are about his girlfriend's, his family, and upbringing, his friends, places he has been, and the experiences he has had in the past to present day. Some lyrics are about fictional characters as well.

Howard sees his lyrics being used for many different genres of music. All I will say is Howard is a "diamond in the rough", and could be someones Bernie Taupin. The possibilities are endless for him, and any singer/songwriter or band that wants to tap into his super creative, impactful, and emotional lyrics/mind. He will bring you to great highs, and depressing lows, that cut right to the bone.

This lyric is similar to the one before it. Again it's about our veterans who go off to war, only to come back and be tossed aside again it's pretty self-explanatory. It's just sad that our government can't take care of veterans and seniors. Yeah they give him housing but it's crummy they cheap out on the benefits, or don't even let them know what they are. If they call the veterans administration all they get is the run around and a bunch of paperwork to fill out. It's a shame that this is what it's come to for the people who fought for our country
This lyric is about veterans. They go off to war and fight for their country and come home and are treated like shit. Basically there's not a whole lot more to say about this lyric as it's pretty self-explanatory. It's really sad that our country, the United States, doesn't even recognize the fact that these veterans risk their lives and breaking up their families to defend their country. There's so many benefits that a veteran could get, yet the veterans administration doesn't really make them aware of them. It's like going through a maze to figure out what the veterans benefits are, and that should never be the case. These people should be treated as heroes, not as Pariah's.
This lyric is about finding love. After many mishaps, and meeting the wrong woman, I finally found the one that I know I would fall in love with for the rest of my life. I can't stop thinking about her, and the more I do it just tears me apart. I'm caught up in it, and my mind just drifts towards her all day and all night. He finally gets his wish meets her in person, and things go okay for a little bit, but then they end, and he's left wondering what happened. He expresses his love for her and tells her that he do anything to make it right.
This lyric is about me, when I was 22 and I moved out to California to be a writer. I was a pretty funny guy, think I still am, and I wanted to be a writer for comedies on TV, and also do some stand-up. I did the latter, but unfortunately I didn't have the patience and the drive that I needed to fulfill my dreams as being a writer for television. It was so beautiful out there, it was everything I dreamed of, but me being who I am, I wanted everything handed to me. I realized today that you need to work for stuff even if you have talent.
The Cyrillic is about a relationship and a love that runs out. It's been coming for a while, and now the realizes that it's finally over. He's bitter over this whole situation, because he threw everything into the relationship. He doesn't understand why she's leaving him. It's probably because there's another man, at least that's what he thinks, and he knows that she's been lying about it, at least that's what he perceives. He thinks he can tell her off, and make like she can't be that way, and expect him to stay. But she doesn't want him to stay anyway. He's got no clue.
