Parasite

(JOSE FELIZ JR)

A song that talks about a woman who likes to use men and break their hearts. She doesn't care who she hurts or uses, as long she gets what she wants.

Intro: Parasite, parasite with an evil soul Wandering in the world, killing those who loves Parasite, parasite, with darkness in your heart Draining my life, till you see me paralyzed Your heart is so cold, no one wants you at home Little did I know, you were using half of your brain Verse 1: There's an extra soul wandering around the world Infecting the air, killing innocent souls Behind closed doors, behind the lies You play the part of the one who's kind But deep inside, you wear a disguise Hiding the truth of your twisted mind Breaking spirits, oh can't you see? Can't you see the damage you've caused Leaving behind a trail of hurt go back to where you belong Pre-chorus: I can't scream anymore, only silence knows it all Even my heart can't beat no more Your time will come to face the toll For the lives you took, your soul will die There's no turning back Won`t you stay away from me Chorus: Parasite, Parasite You are getting older now All the things you did will come to an end Parasite, Parasite Stay out of my way you are causing me pain You are breaking my heart; I don't want you back I`m better on my own, I don`t need your toxic love Verse 2: Damn was the day I let you in my life I never seen it coming the evil in your eyes You seem to be good at what you do Just to end up hurting the one close to you Damn of me to walk into your trap Someone told me be careful who you love She's not what you see she became a poison to my dreams I got to wake up, I got to get out Now I'm left here wondering why Bridge: Why the change of XXXXXX XXX XXX XX XXXX XXXX XXX X XXXXXXX XXX XXXX XXXXX XXX XXX XX XXX XX XXXX XXXX XXXXX XXXX XX XXXX XXXXX XX XXXX XXXXX X XXXX XXX XXXXX XXXX XXXX XX XXXXX XXX XXXX XXXXXXX XXXXX XXXXXX XXXXX XXXXXXX XXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXX XXX XXX XXXXXXX XXXXX XXX XXX XXX XXXXXX XXX XXX XXXX XXXX XX XX XXX XXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXX XX XX XXX XXX XXX XXXXXXX XX XXXX XXX XXX XXXXXXXX XX XXXXXX X XXXXX XXXX XXX XXXX XXX XXXXXX XX XX XXXX X XXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXX XXXX XXXXX X XXXX XX XXXXXXX XX XXXX XXXXX XX XX X XXXX XX XXXX XXXXX XXX XXX XXX XX XXX XXX XXXX XXXX XXXXX XXXXXX XX XXXX XXX XXXXXX XXXX XX XX XXXXXX XX XXX XXXX XXXXXXX XX XXX X XXX XXX XX X XXXXXXXX XXX XXX XXXX XXXXXX XXX XXXX XX XXX XXXXXX XX XXXX

Opiate

By Bethany Grundy

This piece dives into the intoxicating side of love—the kind that slips under your skin slowly and leaves you chasing a high you know you shouldn’t want. Wrapped in hypnotic imagery and emotional tension, the lyrics explore devotion, dependency, and the quiet danger of someone who feels as soothing as an escape… and as consuming as an addiction. Every line balances softness with threat, warmth with withdrawal. It’s a love song with teeth—sensual, atmospheric, and hauntingly relatable for anyone who’s ever been pulled into a connection too powerful to resist. Perfect for fans of moody pop, dark electronica, and slow-burn emotional storytelling.

Voice Inside My Head

By Derek Carter

“Voice Inside My Head” is a high-intensity lyric that captures the overwhelming pressure of intrusive thoughts and inner turmoil. With relentless repetition and explosive frustration, it portrays a mind under siege—sarcastic, accusatory, and impossible to silence. The lyric builds into a chaotic battle against one’s own thoughts, where every moment of quiet becomes torture and every breath feels like a fight for control. Raw, energetic, and brutally honest, this is a gripping look at mental warfare from the inside.

My Paper Sky

By Douglas Butler

An uplifting anthem of escape and imagination with an immediately memorable, chant-like chorus ("This is my paper sky"). The lyric translates the joy of finding peace in a story into a cathartic, high-energy hook. Excellent for Indie Pop, Uplifting Pop/Rock, or Anthemic Festival tracks.

A Vow of Blood and Bone

By Dawn Isbell Wilson

This song is loosely based on the poem Christabel by Samuel Taylor Coleridge. I had so much fun writing "She Walks the Graveyard" that I decided to create one with an even more Gothic theme. I found an old poem which I had, at first, intended to update for modern times but the more I thought about it, the less I wanted to keep the story, let alone modernize it. I love the Gothic theme of the poem, rich with moonlit woods, spectral presences, and ambiguous evil. However, as I started writing it, the more I wanted to twist the tale into something completely different. I hope you enjoy reading these lyrics when we enter into the season of pumpkins, bats, ghosts, and hobgoblins, or just whenever the mood strikes.

tired of pain

By Laura Spendlingwimmer

I wrote this song after I broke up with my ex boyfriend - I was trying so hard on this relationship and I really wanted it to work but somehow I was the only one who was fighting - after the breakup I was so down and sad and heartbroken because I just wanted a love that lasts and that is real and this is what the song is about - I doubted myself being enough
