People are drunk and start to fight,

My head hits the pillow and I’m out like a light.

I wake up in the morning and I feel tired and weak,
All that drink and getting down to the beat,

We headed home when people started to fight,
I think back and it was a great night,

Then I remember that we’re meeting again,
The only trouble is there’s a fog in my brain,
I can’t think when or where we planned to meet,

Now it’s a blur what happened that night,

Then I see a note on my bedside drawers,
I get excited cos it’s from you and the writing is yours,
It says meet me at seven by the fountain,
I feel good like a man that has just conquered a mountain.

I remember your smell and your green eyes so bright,
Your hair was sleek and shiny and your dress was so tight,
I get out of bed and I’m feeling so right.
