Miss Susie
A song about a loved one struggling with addiction, and there is absolutely nothing that person can do to save her. Miss Susie is referred by the game we played as kids. I used the wordplay because I feel like Miss Susie (the girl in the game) was a bit distressed as well. Please enjoy these lyrics, and if there is anyone you know struggling with addiction and there is nothing you can do, I am sorry and I deeply feel you.

(Verse 1)
The hardest part of this is knowing that there’s nothing I can do,
Nothing I can do.
And I watch you fall apart, and yes, it breaks my heart, you know I hurt, too.
You know I hurt, too.
And Miss Susie sat on glass and broke her little ass, she’s fading fast.
She’s fading fast.
(Chorus)
Well, Miss Susie is blessed ‘cause though her room is a mess there’s always angels to clean it,
And Miss Susie is cursed, oh, addiction’s the worst, she’s happy, you should have seen it.
(Verse 2)
Miss Susie grew apart from all the stolen hearts that she had captured,
She had captured.
It was a bond to break,
Such a life at stake,
But I will fix your fracture.
(But I’m no doctor)
(Chorus)
Well, Miss Susie is blessed ‘cause though her room is a mess there’s always angels to clean it,
And Miss Susie is cursed, oh, addiction’s the worst, she’s happy, you should have seen it.
Well, Miss Susie is blessed ‘cause though her room is a mess there’s always angels to clean it,
And Miss Susie is cursed, oh, addiction’s the worst, she’s happy, you should have seen XXX
