In "Once" geht es um Hoffnung. Im Moment scheint alles zu viel zu sein und man hat das Gefühl, verrückt zu werden. Es prasselt alles auf einen ein und man weiß nicht so recht, was man tun soll. Dennoch besteht eine Art innerer Sicherheit, dass bald alles gut werden wird und dass sich die Sorgen auflösen werden. Am Ende des dunklen Tals wartet etwas ganz Großes und man wird es erkennen, wenn es soweit ist.

Mit einem mal sieht alles ganz anders aus und man beginnt nochmal ganz von vorne - hoffnungsvoll, optimistisch und sehr befreit.
