I Touched An Angel
This is a true story about a time I visited my brothers in London, and shared the livingroom to sleep in with one other person, a girl... a girl that was so much more, and a moment we shared which was beautiful and amazing... and sensual... but no actual sex. What we shared goes way deeper than that, or maybe it is just this fools opinion. Anyway, it is a lovely ditty, so enjoy.

V1:
I remember a closed livingroom door
She on the couch, me on the floor
I had to get closer, I had to get near
I had to do something, so I crushed my fear
V2:
Both on the couch, she's in a blanket
I sat by her side and we talked for a bit
She smiled a smile and she had this way
I just kew she understood me and it all felt okay
Choris:
But most of all I can still recall
How silence fell, how it wasn't there at all
And my fingers gently touched her face
She closed her eyes, my blood would race
I gently caressed her cheeks and eyes
Her hair, her neck, some kind of enery would rise
I touched her lips, they were so soft
I caressed until I felt myself lost
I wish I had... I which I did...
But who am I to kiss and angel like this
V3:
So many times my friends were cruel
Made bad jokes and called me a fool
A 1000 times I've thought of that time
Forever to wonder if she'd have been mine
V4:
Yes, it is true that she herself surprised me later
She asked me if I didn't think that it was tender
Didn't I think that moment was sensual
If only she knew... God knows just how special
