Asked about vision,
Don’t know what to say.
I just don’t have one.
But maybe one day.

So you can see now-
All I do is work.
Passed up for the job-
Where are all the perks?

And my coworkers,
They all call me still.
Ask how to do this.
Don’t know if I will. 

The lady I trained-
Yeah- she got the job.
Don’t know why I try
Or why I was robbed.

I’ll do what I can 
To just go ahead,
To just move forward,
To get out of bed.

I sit down to write
Just get it all out.
Get out of my head.
No more tears- just drought.

And then my new boss
Fell flat on her face.
Sat in the corner
And showed us no grace.

Said they were sorry,
And they set her free.
Then they looked at me.
Or was that a dream?

Asked about vision-
And what do I say?
It’s not a new job.
I just want to play.
