My old friend - Mr Blue!

(Tony Lawrie)

The song is a standard 8 bar blues verse with a standard 12 bar blues Chorous that, using personification, captures the history, musicality, and nature of the gendre of the Blues. Not all verses need be performed and the order of the verses can be varied. The song leaves lots of scope for featuring solos by various musicians and instruments during actual performance.

The song is a humorously simple 1-4-5 chord progression in G using Verse Chorous format in the country style song that contrasts the fortunes of an amateur busking banjo player to the great bands, performers, and musicians in history.

Memory Lane

By Brian Hendrix

Some people have turbulent relationships and maybe shouldn't be together. Even still, when the relationship has gone on for a few miles, some partners like to take that trip down memory lane. This is about a man who actually does love the woman, but doesn't see anything on that trip worth looking at. This one sorta poured out of me in around 5 minutes. The verse structure and cadence are incredibly unique, unlike anything else out there, which makes me like it enough to post it to my catalog.

Up to touch the Sky

By Jones Lyrics

That song is dreamy and happy. Perfect for a singer/songwriter or an indi band. We could describe it as happy 'waking up from winter depression' lyrics. They don't specifically have a concrete topic, but express an happy feeling. It consists of creative images and comparisons and should provide a good flow to sing it. I personally thought of Lion Sphere and Milky Chance when I wrote it. Its a basic pop structure with two verses and a bridge, which could be used as an outro as well.
