There have been many times in my life that I felt lost, and would never find my way back. Depression, and a lack of a meaningful relationship was a big reason. Also my perceived notion, that I wasn't liked and head no friends was another reason. I think my BiPolar and Anxiety played a huge roll.
This lyric is about a guy who was in love and still is in love with a person from their past. One day downtown they run into each other he hasn't seen her for a while and he just doesn't know what to do or what to say. All he knows is that memories tend to fade put a picture always last forever. He tried to talk to her about old times but it just wasn't working even when he brought up the the fact that he still has a picture of them in his wallet. It's a heartache type of lyric, but one person just has that love in them forever. I could relate, as if I ran into this girl that I needed when I was in my mid-20s, she's probably the one I fell in love with more than anybody and I used to have a picture of her but I lost it. Anyway it just made me think of this lyric.
Inside is a mysterious song about our deeper selves. Our complex thoughts and actions which are not even always clear to ourselves.
The Answer is a song about finding your meaning in life. A love song.
His lyric is about to war in Ukraine. It's about appealing to people to not sit back and watch the TV, and listen to all the news, while people die for no reason at all. It's about reaching out and reaching in to your pockets and helping any way you can. The people of Ukraine deserve that, and we can't sit back and do nothing. As people here in America, that's not what we're all about, and I'm sure the same goes for most of the European nations. We all have to pitch in and do our part to help these people.
