She eventually got engaged in 2021, and that changed our relationship slightly. Her fiance was very jealous of me for some reason, he just couldn't understand how two people that dated could now be friends. Never mind, that we have a dog that we've shared since 4 months old, and he's now six. So anyway, he leaves her because he can't take her relationship with me anymore. When I talk to her on the phone and asked her why he left he said it's all about you. Immediately I felt really guilty about it, but then realized I didn't do anything wrong, or did we do anything wrong. So I wrote this lyric, about please don't shut me out from our friendship. Stay strong, and tell him that in order for him to come back, he has to accept our relationship. I am no threat to him, or do I ever interject myself into their business.
