Written as a poem I feel it could be put to a slowish rhythm with a mix of instruments and a slightly psychedelic sound. The theme is fairly clear, despite the surreal lyrics; it is about being on the verge of trying something completely different, of giving something up in order to try something completely new and the excitement and/or fear that creates.
