[Verse 1] You make it sound so sweet That's how you pull me into your thrill Laugh at me once I'm in hen spit me out Throw me into the bin I'm a fool so I do it again Same cycle - find truth, ignore it, go insane This life game, what do I have to gain? Having too much knowledge is a burden The further you go, the greater you hurtin' 'Cause now nothing is certain [Pre - Chorus] But this life is addicting So you do it again and again Yes, life is an addiction I'm a fool so I do it again [Chorus] This life is addicting Said, this life is addiction This life is addicting I'm a fool so I do it again (X2) [Post - Chorus] Do it again Do it again Do it again I'm a fool so I do it again [Verse 2] You make it sound so sweet That's how you draw me into your space Laugh at me in the face Then cry on me for goodness' sake Can't sleep in this place I'm a fool so I do it again Always in two minds - Is it fate or is it fake? The more you know, the further you go Tethered to the ups and downs 'Cause it's the only way to know I'm real [Pre - Chorus] But this life is addicting So you do it again and again Yes, life is an addiction I'm a fool so I do it again [Chorus] This life is addicting Said, this life is addiction This life is addicting I'm a fool so I do it again (X2) [Post - Chorus] Do it again Do it again Do it again I'm a fool so I do it again [Verse 3] Never been addicted to anything But this life game is real I'm deeper than this shit But I've been filling my home with Surface level shit The type of things you XXX XXX XXXXX XXXX XX XX XXXXXXX XXX XX XXX XXXX XXX XXXX XXXX XXX XXXXXX XXXX XXXXXX XXX XXXX XXXXXXXXX XX X XXXXXX XXX XXXXXXX XXX XXX XXX XXXXXXX XXX XXXXXXX XXXXXX XXX XXXXXXX XX XXXXXXX XXXX X XXXXXXX XXX XXXX XXXX XX XXXXXXXXX XX XXX XX XX XXXXX XXX XXXXX XXXX XXXX XX XX XXXXXXXXX XXX X XXXX XX X XX XX XXXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XX XXXXXXXXX XXXXX XXXX XXXX XX XXXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XX XXXXXXXXX XXX X XXXX XX X XX XX XXXXX XXXX XXXXX X XXXXXXX XX XX XXXXX XX XX XXXXX XX XX XXXXX XXX X XXXX XX X XX XX XXXXX XXXXXXX XXX X XXXX XX X XX XX XXXXX XXX X XXXX XX X XX XX XXXXX XXXXX XXXX XXXX XX XXXXXXXXX XXX X XXXX XX X XX XX XXXXX XXX X XXXX XX X XX XX XXXXX XXXXX XXXX XXXX XX XXXXXXXXX XXX X XXXX XX X XX XX XXXXXX

Sound is Sex

By Annabel Chima

Genre: Rap, Hip Hop, Indie, RnB, Pop This song is inspired by the flow and style of Nicki Minaj and Doja Cat. The hook is very catchy and engaging, immediately drawing the audience in. The overall lyrics are quirky, especially in the verses where I included double entendres, satire and confrontational, sexual jargon. The vibes/atmosphere of the lyrics are highly boastful, mocking, with a tint of anger. It fits perfectly into most genres, especially rap.

Like Me

By Annabel Chima

Genre: RnB, Hip Hop, possibly Rap This lyric illustrates the anger of a lover who does not know where they stand with their person. Are they just friends or are they dating? Do they fancy them or not? These are the questions they want answers to. They warn that their uniqueness is unmatched - if their person does not reveal their feelings and keeps wasting their time, they will move on and their person will never meet another like them. All they want is a sign that their person is interested in them so that they can be free. The lyrics are very relatable. The vibes and atmosphere of the lyrics are confrontational, flirty and cautioning. It fits perfectly into most genres, especially rap.

Pluto 'n' Mars

By Annabel Chima

Genre: Rap, Trap, Hip Hop This lyric is one of the most unique raps I have written recently because it encompasses Astrology and it romanticises the star signs. Mars is known as the God of War and Pluto is known as the God of the underworld, as it is associated with death and rebirth. Mars governs the star sign, Aries, whilst Pluto rules Scorpio. Aries, being a fire sign and Scorpio being a water sign means that they balance each other out and together, create a steamy union. There are a lot of double entendres in the verses to depict the flirtation between the Aries man and the Scorpio woman. The vibes and atmosphere of the lyrics are sexy, sultry and romantic with a catchy hook. You're guaranteed a heated audience. It fits perfectly into most genres, especially rap.

If you could have everything

By Annabel Chima

This lyric personifies temptation and seduction at its finest, embodying an undeniable mystical vibe. It describes being excited of the unknown and just simply going with the flow of life, even when it seems dangerous. It speaks for those who need to come out of their comfort zone. The tempo is quite upbeat, suitable for dance, indie/rock and house genres. However, it does fit perfectly into most genres. You're guaranteed a hyped audience.

Even Cowboys Get the Blues

By Brian Hendrix

Hands down, one of the top-3 songs I've ever written. This one just came to me like a shot in the dark while I was lying down in bed. I hurried up and jotted down a rough outline, and then the song just came together of a cowboy who has accepted his fate of being alone and without love, and the realization that his "loneliness" doesn't make him blue. It's actually other things that make him sad.
