Where You Could Love Me

(Bogi Taylor)

This is one of my first lyrics, and also a contest winner! We all know the feeling when we're terribly in love with someone, and we finally have the courage to tell this to the person, but it turns out that our desired one doesn't feel the same way. It is a real heartbreaker moment. This lyric captures that feeling, when we just wish that there was a place "where you could love me".

(Verse1) I'm still hoping You will change your mind I blame myself How could I be so blind? Cause (Pre-Chorus) How can I miss someone Someone I never had? Why can't you love me? Yeah, that's living in my head Tried to do the best I can Seems it wasn't enough I'm trying to forget you But it's so hard Oh, yeah (Chorus) They say forget him, but it's not that easy I'm dreamin' 'bout a world Where you could love me Where you could love me Where you could love me Where you could I belong in the circus Yeah, I'm awfully dumb Thinking you could love me Yeah, I'm so wrong They say forget him, but it's not that easy I'm dreamin' 'bout a world Where you could love me Where you could love me Where you could love me Where you could (Verse2) Short moments, pictures on my phone Reminds me how much I want it Haunts me in the night You told me to "forget it" And I don't know (Pre-Chorus) How can I miss someone Someone I never had Why can't you love me Yeah, that's living in my head Tried to do the best I can Seems it wasn't enough I'm trying to forget you But it's so hard Oh, yeah (Chorus) They say forget him, but it's not that easy I'm dreamin' 'bout a world Where you could love me Where you could love me Where you could love me Where you could I belong in the circus Yeah, I'm awfully dumb Thinking you could love me Yeah, I'm so wrong They say forget him, but it's not that easy I'm dreamin' 'bout a world Where you could love me Where you could love me Where you could love me Where you could (Verse3) This place doesn't exist But that would be my heaven You would kiss me, you would hug me I know, this won't happen So (Pre-Chorus) Why do I miss someone Someone I never had Why can't you love me Yeah, that's living in my head Tried to do the best I can Seems it wasn't enough I'm trying to forget you But it's so hard Oh, yeah (Chorus) They say forget him, but it's not that easy I'm dreamin' 'bout a world Where you could love me Where you could love me Where you could love me Where you could I belong in the circus Yeah, I'm awfully dumb Thinking you could love me Yeah, I'm so wrong They say forget him, but it's not that easy I'm dreamin' 'bout a world Where you could love me Where you could love me Where you could love me Where you could

Shotgun Seat

By Bogi Taylor

This lyric is a bit more James Arthur style. A bit influence was his song "Car's outside", although, this is much more lighter and happier version of the topic. It would be ideal with any genre and almost any chord progression. You can make a happy or a sad song out of these lyrics. And personally I really like the concept.

Rory Hits The Hay

By Bogi Taylor

This lyric is a little bit outrageous and contemplative. A very good lyric if you want to add this to a song which they to tell a deeper story. Rory represents Aurora, the sleeping beauty. I tried to make it a little bit quirky, so it can bring some sour smiles on the faces.

Democracy

By Howard Aronson

These lyrics pretty much say it all, and I don't know if I need 150 characters to say it. All over the world the eyes are in the United States. We have a huge problem in our country, and because of one man, who spread lies, conspiracy theories, hate, and violence, we're on the verge of having a democracy uprooted. Over 200 years ago we fought for that democracy and freedom. This is a good versus evil song, and usually the good always wins. But at this point no one is sure that will happen. What I do know, is what happens in the United States affects the rest of our allies, in the world in general. We are supposed to be the example of how to live freely and fairly. But right now we're not living up to that standard.
