Hotel Jesus
Another I wrote as more tongue-in-cheek, but it carries a good message for those who are religious. This is about a man of faith who runs a small little hotel off the beaten path, and folks have taken to calling it the "Hotel Jesus," due to the ambiance and level of faith displayed by its owner.

Well...
Old man Johnson and his 20 rooms
Has a Bible in each drawer, at noon
He says the Lord's prayer out there by the pool
And in every room there's a velvet Christ
Everyone who stays says it looks real nice
When they check out he says,
"Thank you, He's comin' soon..."
(Chorus)
At the Hotel Jesus
Everyone's a believer
If you ain't accepted Him yet
You will, I bet
Long before you ever leave 'er
Lay right down, confess your sins
Take the Bible home, it's our free gift
There's no room for deceivers
At the Hotel Jesus
Now...
The water, they say, it's awfully hot
Holy and clean, it hits the spot
It'll Baptize you whether you want it to or not
And every meal, Mr. Johnson blessed
That tender steak and free-range eggs
You'll get full up on the Lord's love
Though it ain't a lot...
(Chorus)
(Bridge)
All the sinners are welcome to come inside
And everyone of a different faith
But the righteous man gets a steep discount
Half the price and a second plate
(Chorus)
